About Us
The Liquor Loft, located in the Kellogg Road Plaza on Kellogg Road, New Hartford, was founded in 1975. It was purchased on July 1, 2003 by Dick Kovach, who is the store’s fourth owner. He, along with his wife Sharon, manage the store, which is a seven-day-a-week business.
Dick has an extensive background in advertising and soon after taking the store over, he embarked on a major television advertising program that necessitated the branding of the phrase:
It’s ALL about the Wine.”
Did you know that there are approximately ten thousand varieties of wine grapes in existence worldwide? The Liquor Loft works tirelessly to bring in extra special wines for its discerning customers and help to educate the customers who are new to wine. Customer Service is the primary goal of this wine and liquor store which boasts over 3,500 products to tempt your palate. Making sure that you chose just the right wine is the goal of a very experienced and knowledgeable staff. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or for a explanation of what can be some very complicated descriptions on the wine bottles.
At the Liquor Loft, it’s ALL about the wine and not all about the price. The Liquor Loft maintains a Value Section with over 100 wines that are under $8.00 per bottle! And every new product is staff tested before it goes on the shelf.
